What is Sound healing?
Let yourself be retuned by sound.
Sound is vibration — and the body is largely water, which carries vibration beautifully. Gongs, Tibetan bowls, chimes and voice guide you into deep relaxation without you having to do a thing.
A sound bath may be the easiest doorway into mindful practice: you lie down, cover yourself with a blanket and let the sound do the work. Your nervous system retunes, the mind goes quiet, and the body rests deeper than in sleep.
What to expect
- You lie in comfort with a blanket and pillow — all you do is listen.
- Layers of sound arrive from near and far, and your body resonates with them.
- Some people fall asleep, others drift in a waking dream — both are just right.
- A slow, gentle return and a moment of silence at the end.
Bring warm socks and something cosy — the body cools down in deep relaxation.
